MONTCLAIR, NJ — Twisted Sister lead singer Dee Snider is coming to Montclair as part of a solo tour that will see him performing classics like “We’re Not Gonna Take It” and “I Wanna Rock.”
Snider will be performing for North Jersey audiences at Montclair’s Wellmont Theater on Thursday, Nov. 2 with a show that will combine classics with cover songs.
Snider released his first solo album, “We Are the Ones,” in the fall of 2016.

Snider said it’s liberating as a solo act to be able to perform covers of popular songs and put iconic twists on old classics.
“It’s the Dee Snider show,” Snider said. “Certain songs we have to play. If I got in my car and tried to leave without playing ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It,’ I think the audience would literally stop my car from leaving. They would look at me, like ‘Seriously? We’re not gonna take it.’”
