DENNIS ELSAS TO BRING HIS "ROCK N' ROLL" NEVER FORGETS" TO THE MONTCLAIR ART MUSEUM SATURDAY NOVEMBER 1
New Jersey Premiere of this Multi Media Trip of Rock (and radio) History

(Montclair NJ, 10/22/14) For more than 40 years, radio personality Dennis Elsas has been one of the most influential voices in FM radio. During his time at the legendary WNEW-FM and continuing today on WFUV and Sirius/XM Classic Vinyl , Elsas has interviewed rock legends including John Lennon, Elton John, Jerry Garcia, Pete Townshend and more. Now he presents highlights from these interviews, along with rarely seen film, video and audio together with his personal insights in the live multi-media show “Rock ‘N’ Roll Never Forgets.” As one of the pioneers of the progressive FM radio revolution, he’s had a front row seat for rock’s greatest era and shares his favorite stories and experiences in this fascinating show.
“Rock N’ Roll Never Forgets” will take place Saturday November 1 at 7PM at the Montclair Art Museum’s Leir Hall. Tickets are $12 for members and $15 for non-members. It will be the New Jersey premiere for the show, which has played to enthusiastic audiences throughout Westchester, Connecticut and NYC. “I’m really pleased to bring my live show to NJ and the Montclair Art Museum is the perfect setting. My New Jersey listeners have always been passionate about the music they grew up with and I’m looking forward to sharing that enthusiasm and the memories with them.”

The distinctive style he developed during 25plus years at WNEW-FM continues weekday afternoons at WFUV (90.7FM) and every weekend on Sirius/XM Classic Vinyl. His creative music programming and history-making interviews – including the legendary 1974 conversation with John Lennon – have connected Dennis with generations of listeners across the tri-state area and now, via satellite and the internet, around the world. In addition to his on-air work Dennis is also the “Voice of Rock History” at the Museum at Bethel Woods and a leading voice-over artist for documentary films and commercials.
