The Montclair Board of Education has sued the Township of Montclair over construction work at Woodman Field, a report says.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — A dispute over a baseball field renovation has spurred a lawsuit in Montclair, a report says.
The Montclair Board of Education has sued the Township of Montclair over construction work at the baseball field in Woodman Field. The township placed a stop work order at the field in November, according to Montclair Local.
The project was included in the district’s 2022 bond referendum, with $7.94 million earmarked for its renovation, Montclair Local reported. Read the full article here.

The lawsuit in Montclair isn’t the only recent example of a government body suing another local office in Essex County.
