Dog Heaved From Car During Angry Fight In Montclair (VIDEO)

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Circumstances are still unclear about what led a man to heave a dog out of another driver’s car during an apparent road rage incident captured on video in Montclair.

The video – which was posted to Streamable on Sunday and doesn’t specify a date that the incident took place – shows a heated and swear-laden confrontation between two adult men in the roadway on Bloomfield Avenue.

During the encounter, one of the men grabs the other’s arm and attempts to yank him to the ground. In response, the other man walks up to a car and grabs a small, black dog, then throws the animal forcefully onto the sidewalk.

He then gets into a red Honda which drives away from the scene.

A Montclair police officer told NJ.com that investigators tracked down and spoke to the two men in the video.

The dog wasn’t seriously injured during the incident and is well, he added.

The Montclair Animal Cruelty Investigator, Montclair Police Department and the SPCA are conducting an investigation into the incident, NJ.com reported.
