Montclair's Donna Bonavita Collects 9 At NJAD Club Jersey Awards

Montclair resident Donna Bonavita, principal of Bonavita Design LLC, collected a high award total of nine at the 51st Annual Jersey Awards Statewide competition. The awards dinner was held at The Grove, Cedar Grove, NJ on June 5, 2019.

Bonavita won two first and two second place awards as well as 5 Certificates of Excellence for digital media and print promotional marketing material, created for Command Companies, Unimac, A Command Company and Wolters Kluwer.

A 2018 inductee into the NJ Advertising Hall of Fame, Bonavita was the designer for First Night Montclair’s gold award-winning promotional material.

She developed the brand for the Global Benefactor of the Noble Peach Center and Noble Peace Prize Concert, Oslo Norway—The Pearson Family Members Fund, As Global Creative Director for KPMG, she was responsible for setting and maintaining standards for KPMG’s Brand Identity which spanned over 143 countries.

Bonavita has written and designed a children’s book illustrated by Henrik Dresher, taught and lectured at various academic institutions/events, served on the Board of Directors for the NJ Art Directors Club and has a piece in the permanent collection of the Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum in NYC.
