Driver Encounters Knife-Wielding Man In Montclair: Police
A woman had a suspicious encounter with a knife-wielding man at a parking lot in Montclair, authorities said.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — A driver had a suspicious encounter with a knife-wielding man at a parking lot in Montclair last week, authorities said Tuesday.
The Montclair Police Department released the following details about the incident, which took place Feb. 18 on Bloomfield Avenue:
“The complainant reported that she was pulling into a parking space when she observed a male walking on Rockledge Road carrying a knife. The male approached her vehicle and raised the knife before fleeing. No words were exchanged.”
The suspect was described as a man between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet, with a slim build and low-cut hair. He was wearing dark clothes, police said.
