Driver Rips Off Montclair Car Wash, Nearly Hits Worker: Police
A driver ripped off a car wash in Montclair, leaving the business without paying and nearly hitting a worker on the way out, police said.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — A driver recently ripped off a car wash in Montclair, leaving the business without paying and nearly hitting a worker on the way out, authorities said.
According to the Montclair Police Department, an employee of Montclair Car Care on Bloomfield Avenue reported that a four-door Kia with a Florida registration went through the car wash on Aug. 31, then left without paying.
The employee said that the vehicle nearly struck one of the workers, police stated.
