Driver Slashes Another Motorist’s Tire In Montclair, Police Say
Two drivers got into an argument after a merge. One followed the other and slashed her tire, then drove away, police said.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — A driver slashed another motorist’s tire during an argument in Montclair last week, authorities say.
According to the Montclair Police Department, a verbal dispute broke out on Pine Street between two drivers on Feb. 3.
One driver told officers that the argument happened while merging into traffic. As she continued to drive south on Pine Street, the other vehicle – a grey GMC pickup truck – followed her down the road until they came to a stop at the intersection of Pine Street and Glenridge Avenue.

The motorist told police that a man got out of the pickup truck and slashed her rear driver’s side tire, then got back in the truck and drove away.
