Earth Day Celebration In Montclair: Events Planned For 2024

The Northeast Earth Coalition will host a week-long Earth Day Celebration in April.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Looking for a way to celebrate Earth Day in Montclair? The Northeast Earth Coalition (NEEC) will host a week-long Earth Day Celebration for 2024.

Events are planned from April 15 to April 22, with a theme of “restoring our planet,” according to the nonprofit. An “Earth Day Bash” will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday, April 21. Learn more here.

According to organizers, planned activities for the week include:

  • Township Proclamation at Crane Park Demonstration Garden, Spring cleanup, and planting native plants
  • Stream cleanup (Toney’s Brook): Bay Street Train Station and Glenfield Park.
  • Erie Park Cleanup
  • Pine Street Community Garden (Community Composting Program & Vegetable garden planting)
  • Green Way Trail Cleanup (Montclair/Glen Ridge only)
  • Live Music and environmental displays
