Election Aftermath: Montclair Residents Plan March ‘For Community And Connection’

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A group of Montclair residents will host a “Montclair March for Community and Connection” on Saturday, Nov. 19.

According to a Facebook posting, marchers will meet at 4 p.m. at the Montclair Public Library, 50 South Fullerton Avenue, which is not affiliated with the event.

“In the wake of the election many members of our community are feeling devastated, afraid and targeted. Let's support each other by walking together as a community to promote inclusion and diversity. At sunset we will stand together as one and shine a light into the darkness.”

Marchers will meet in front of the library and walk peacefully to Edgemont Park, the event posting stated.
