The audience will be transported to Elizabethan England with the courtly songs and dances of the era, many of which were incorporated into Shakespeare’s plays. The concert will begin with Denise LeDuc performing outdoors on the hurdy gurdy, a stringed instrument popular in the Renaissance, played using a hand crank and a keyboard. An opportunity to chat with musicians and learn about their instruments will follow the performance.
