Essex County Family Rallies Neighbors For Food Drive

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — With the help of a few like-minded neighbors, a family in Essex County recently put together a smile-inducing food drive to benefit the Human Needs Food Pantry of Montclair.

According to a social media post from the pantry, which serves the surrounding area:

“The Deutsch family did a food drive in their Glen Ridge neighborhood, leaving empty bags on nearby doorsteps (with explanatory notes). They collected all this—and even checked expiration dates and sorted food into bags by type. Outstanding on all counts—thank you!”
