
Al Johnson, fine artist, illustrator, and mentor who’s reputation and acclaim is world wide, will be at 73 See Gallery Sunday, March 25th from 3 – 6 pm. to speak and dialogue about his process, inspiration and techniques. His current exhibit “EXPANSION: on Love Dreams Politics Music” will be on view at the gallery through April 12th. Please join us on Sunday as we celebrate Al Johnson’s stellar talents. Mr. Johnson’s exhibitions have included the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum in Japan, the Guangzhou International Art Fair in China and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. His portrait of Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm is currently being considered for a commemorative US postal stamp. An outstanding storyboard artist, his accomplishments include Academy Award winning film “The Hours”, feature film “After Life”, HBO’s “Soprano’s”, “Six Feet Under” and “Sex and The City” to name just a few.
