Montclair, NJ, June 28th, 2012-
Gallery U is pleased to present “Confection,”
a multi-media art show for the senses. Enjoy the work of emerging new artists
while sampling deserts from Montclair’s best bakeries.

Confection will
feature mixed media artwork by the most progressive and profound emerging
artists.

Enjoy a night of inspiring art, delicious desserts, and a
welcoming atmosphere.

Gallery U is a contemporary art gallery owned and operated
by Universal Institute, a rehabilitation center for individuals who have
sustained traumatic brain injuries. The Gallery serves as a vocational training
program for the clients of Universal and assists them in getting back into the
work force.

In keeping with Gallery U’s mission to make art accessible
and affordable, all artwork for sale will be under $500.

In addition to art receptions, Gallery U hosts monthly
poetry readings, fashion shows, musical performances, and other events that
promote the best Montclair has to offer.

Opening reception will be held June 28th, 2012 from 6:00 to
9:00 p.m.
