Come join us in Brookdale Park for a USATF-NJ Certified 5k run/walk. This event is intended for all ages and all levels of experience. The course will be 2 loops around beautiful Brookdale park, starting and ending on the south end of the park. After the race their will be refreshments, and awards for each age group.
The Donate Life Children of Heroes 5k was created to benefit a scholarship fund designed for children who lost parents that donated their organs. The fund was created by John Acquaro, a heart transplant recipient who wanted to find a way to honor his donor. All of the proceeds from this event will go directly to the Donate Life Children of Heroes fund and will directly benefit children of organ donors!
