Emmet Cohen & Trio--a Summer Jazz concert

A special evening of piano jazz. Emmet Cohen was a finalist in the 2011 Thelonius Monk piano competition. At 22, jazz piano prodigy Emmet Cohen plays with the maturity and confidence of aseasoned veteran. With astonishing technique and an innovative harmonic palate, Emmet engenders a deep musical bond with his audience. Since then he hasplayed and performed at someof the top jazz clubs and festivals around the world, including the Monterey Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival (Holland), Bern(Switzerland) Jazz Festival,and River to River Festival and at famed performance spaces as the Kennedy Center, and the “Monk at 92″ Piano Summit at the World Financial Center.This is a great chance to hear one of jazz’s rising stars, and a member of the TNT family!
