Free Choral Concert

Free Choral Concert presenting musical works by Central's former Directors of Music, William Batchelder Bradbury (1816-1868) and Carl F. Mueller (1892-1978). The Central Choir, directed by Jonathan Hall, will lead us in widely known tunes, including "He Leadeth Me", "Just As I Am, Without One Plea", "Sweet Hour of Prayer", and others. Bradbury was a Montclair resident and composed the famous hymn "Jesus Loves Me". Mueller founded the Montclair A Capella Choir (later renamed the Montclair A Capella Chorale) and taught at Montclair State College from 1928 to 1954. Admission is free. No tickets or reservations are required.
