
Free Concert by the Larry Hunt Quartet ! Mr. Hunt grew up in Nutley, NJ. For 25 years he earned a living strictly as a performing musician, entertaining in over 1000 venues world-wide, including onboard 20 cruise ships. He now teaches private music lessons in the NYC/NJ area and peforms locally. His music is influenced by the rich musical legacies of New Orleans and Brazil, as well as by artists such as Mose Allison, Chet Baker, Ray Charles, Bill Evans, Horace Silver, and Oscar Peterson to name just a few. Singer/pianist/composer Hunt is joined in this outing by local greats Tom Rosenthal on sax and flute, Matt Teitelman on drums, and WFDU DJ Keith Mulhare on acoustic bass.
