Ron Kaplan, who works as a sports, features and world news editor of the New Jersey Jewish News, will talk about Jews in Sports on Friday night, April 22, 8:00 p.m., following a 7:30 Shabbat evening service. In addition to his work at the Jewish News, Ron is a freelance writer, specializing in book reviews — primarily baseball-related — as well as pop culture. His work has appeared in such on-line and print outlets as Huffington Post, Baseball America, Cleveland Plain Dealer, Mental Floss, ForeWord Magazine, January Magazine, E Magazine, Irish America, and American Book Review, among others.
