The KIDS for CRITTERS event is an opportunity for families to have fun together, and help raise funds to help pets in nee. Music for kids, a miracle dog and a great indoor play area will raise money for this worthy cause. Children will “boogie for bow-wows” to the music of Big Jeff, a children’s entertainer who really gets the kids smiling, jumping and laughing with his music and antics.
Guests will have the chance to big on great auction prizes, including the chance to win a year membership to the Geyer Family YMCA, $150 worth of Capoira classes at the Afro Brazilian Cultural Center and a gift basket from the Preschool of Rock including 2 classes, 2 CDs, a shaker and gazoo? At the KIDS FOR CRITTERS benefit at Le Parc Place on 237 Lorraine Ave in Upper Montclair on Sunday August 5 from 11:30am to 2:00pm.
Guests will also have the special opportunity to meet “Daniel the Beagle”, the miracle dog who survived the gas chamber last year and won the 2012 Emerging Hero Dog category for his work in banning the gas chamber and promoting pet adoptions. And the party will include more than an hour of free play in the fabulous Le Parc’N’Play at Le Parc Place, the hosting venue. Suggested donation is $12 at the door and all proceeds go to the all volunteer 501c3 non-profit organization, Shelter Showcase.
