Megan's Marchers Golf Invitational

Bankruptcy administration specialists, Logan & Co., recently celebrated 20 years in the Montclair community and on September 26, 2011, they will be hosting Megan’s Marchers Golf Invitational at the Montclair Golf Club, 25 Prospect Avenue, West Orange in an effort to support Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Golfers of all abilities can support the cause by participating in the event which plans to be a wonderful afternoon filled with sportsmanship and camaraderie, while helping to find a cure for type 1 Diabetes. The day’s activities will include a luncheon, followed by a shotgun start to a round of golf, concluding with a cocktail reception, dinner, and silent auction. There will be fabulous hole-in-one prizes including a trip to Ireland or Scotland and the highly anticipated Silent Auction will feature good and services from many vendors in Montclair and its surrounding communities.

The dinner will feature an address by Dr. Aaron Kowalski, a renowned expert in the study of diabetes. Dr. Kowalski oversees research for the JDRF Artificial Pancreas Project, a multi-million dollar initiative aimed at accelerating progress towards a closed-loop automated insulin-delivery system that will improve blood sugar control in people with diabetes.
