Don't miss a day of swinging music at the 3rd annual
Montclair Jazz Festival! Presented by City National Bank, the festival will feature Joe Lovano, Christian McBride, Bronx Horns, Dave Stryker's Blue to the Bone, Michele Rosewoman's Quintessence, Radam Schwartz's Organ-ized and Melissa Walker. Music lovers will be treated to a lineup that features a one-of-a-kind trio with Joe Lovano, Christian McBride and Billy Drummond; the Bronx Horns, originally one of the mainstays of Tito Puente's Latin Ensemble and others. And between acts, the amazing students from the
Jazz House Kids Summer Music Workshop will be showcased. Emceed by WBGO’s on-air personalities Sheila Anderson and Gary Walker. Bring lawn chairs (fishing or sand chairs please) or blankets. Bring picnic baskets, or
check out the food vendors for tasty options. The show goes on rain or shine, with the rain location at the Salvation Army Citadel, 13 Trinity Place in Montclair. (all photos by Richard Conde)
