Oratorio Society of New Jersey Performs Brahm's Waltzes

The Oratorio Society of New Jersey celebrates its 60th anniversary performing an all-Brahms program under the music direction of Dr. Sándor Szabó, Conductor.  The OSNJ choral program will include five works by Johannes Brahms: Nänie, Schicksalslied, Alto Rhapsody, Ave Maria, and Liebeslieder Waltzes, Op. 52.  Brahms solo works for piano and organ will be performed by Sándor Szabó.  The concerts will be held on Saturday, March 24, at 8 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 30 North Fullerton Avenue in Montclair, NJ and on Sunday March 25, at 3 p.m. at the Central Presbyterian Church, 70 Maple Street, Summit NJ.  Admission to the concert is $20. Tickets may be purchased at the door. CDs of past performances will also be sold at the door.
