MAM’s Yard School of Art is the leading regional art school, offering a multitude of comprehensive courses for children, teens, adults, seniors, and professional artists. We offer classes in all media, including through our Digital Media Lab and Ceramics Studio, the only resource of its kind at a Museum in NJ. This semester, we are particularly excited to be offering new classes such as Origins of Technique, New Media Printmaking, and The Painterly Portrait as well as classes inspired by our upcoming exhibition Georgia O'Keeffe in New Mexico: Architecture, Katsinam, and the Land like Exploring O'Keeffe in Watercolor, Georgia O'Keeffe in Glass Workshop, and Mini Masters Series: Georgia O'Keeffe (Ages 6–8). Classes start on September 24 and run for ten weeks. In addition, the Yard School offers a series of one- or two-day workshops throughout the semester. Register online at montclairartmuseum.org or call 973-259-5139.
