Start Out Fresh Intervention Advocates (fondly referred as S.O.F.I.A.) Our organization is a 501(c) (3) non- profit organization that provides advocacy, support services and temporary housing to “at risk” women and children of Domestic Violence.
Our mission is to help each of our Domestic Violence victims and survivors become self-sufficient, positive and successful.
We are hosting a Domestic Violence Walk (With Awareness There Is Hope) on Saturday, September 8th, 2012 at Canterbury Park in Montclair, New Jersey. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. Walk will be at 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

We are asking individuals, companies & organizations to help us reach our goal to secure funding so we can expedite the opening of the S.O.F.I.A. Success Center and a SAFE House.
Participating in the walk or becoming a sponsor will contribute in supporting the ongoing domestic violence awareness, assistance and prevention. You will be demonstrating support to victims and their families within your community.
