The Orpheus Club Men’s Chorus Seeks Men Who Like to Sing

The Orpheus Club Men’s Chorus begins rehearsals Wednesday, Sept. 5 and is inviting all men who like to sing to join one of New Jersey’s oldest and best musical groups. The group meets each Wednesday at 8 p.m. at The Cupola (Care One) on 100 W. Ridgewood Ave. in Paramus. Founded in 1909, the chorus presents concerts featuring a wide variety of music including classics, pop tunes, oldies, music from Broadway shows, and novelty tunes. Formal musical training is not needed for membership in the group and auditions are not required, although members are occasionally tested to see which part or musical selection is most appropriate for their skills. For membership information call Bill Amazzini at 551-404-3976. More information is available on their website: http://www.ridgewoodorpheusclub.org
