Yin Yoga & Meditation practice is a necessary balance to our physical & powerful Vinyassa practice ans our Yang life. Yin Yoga invites us to hold our poses for several minutes while supoorted by props. By staying passive and relaxed in our overlying muscles, the connective tissue, which is concentrated around the joints, is able to stretch. As we "ground" our practice, there is a delicious impact on the mind. It begins to slow down to the body's rhythm. The Yin sequence is primarily on the mat and will concentrate on creating flexibility in the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. Each class ends with a guided meditation.
