MONTCLAIR, NJ — The following news release comes courtesy of Bnai Keshet. Learn more about posting announcements or events to your local Patch site.

Explore your true identity from a Kabbalistic and Vedantic perspective with Dr. Siddhartha Nadkarni, a neurologist at New York University’s Langone Medical Center, on Saturday Dec. 18, 10:00am-noon at Bnai Keshet, 99 So. Fullerton Ave. in Montclair, and via Zoom at https://www.bnaikeshet.org/eve...

Nadkarni, program director for a combined neurology and psychiatry residency, will speak about how identity is typically conceived of as a relational construct. Yet spiritual and mystical traditions, he maintains, offer a “radically different view of who we are, one that is not relational or relative, and one that often provides answers” for difficult social/political/psychological problems. “We will explore this perspective and its implications, if owned,” he said.
