On Wednesdays at 2 p.m., Montclair Public Library hosts The Every Wednesday Matinee, a classic film series presented in its auditorium. Below are the travel films being screened this August:
Light in the Piazza (August 3) - Starring Olivia de Havilland, George Hamilton and Yvette Mimieux. Based on the 1960 novel by Elizabeth Spencer, the film is about a beautiful but innocent young American woman traveling in Italy with her mother and the Italian man they meet during one leg of their trip. (1962, 102 minutes, Color)
Paris When It Sizzles (August 10) - Starring William Holden, Audrey Hepburn and Grégoire Aslan. The sprightly young assistant of a Hollywood screenwriter helps him over his writer's block by acting out his fantasies of possible plots. (1964, 110 minutes, Color)

Fun in Acapulco (August 17) - Starring Elvis Presley, Ursula Andress and Elsa Cardenas. Rocking and rolling south of the border, Elvis stars as a recently unemployed boat hand who finds work as a lifeguard and singer at a local hotel. (1963, 97 minutes, Color)
The African Queen (August 24) - Starring Humphrey Bogart, Katharine Hepburn and Robert Morley. In Africa during WWI, a gin-swilling riverboat captain is persuaded by a strait-laced missionary to use his boat to attack an enemy warship. (1951, 105 minutes, Color)
