Evolution Lacrosse Academy Teams Up With Pro Player Rob Pannell to Offer Youth Lacrosse Clinics
Evolution Lacrosse Academy will host clinics with Major League Lacrosse attackman Rob Pannell at Montclair Kimberley Academy.
Evolution Lacrosse Academy will host Major League Lacrosse attackman Rob Pannell for two clinics on Tuesday, July 25, at Montclair Kimberley Academy’s Van Brunt Field in Montclair.
Pannell, Major League Lacrosse 2016 Warrior Offensive Player of the Year, will share his knowledge and passion for the game of lacrosse with local youth.
The two one-hour clinics will focus on scoring goals and creating opportunities through poise, vision and leadership. There will be time set aside for photos and autographs.

“The clinics will be ideal for attack and midfielders who are working hard and evolving their games, but any young lacrosse player will benefit from meeting Pannell. He loves to work with kids and his enthusiasm for the game is infectious,” says Matt Podwoski, President/Founder of Evolution Lacrosse Academy.
With the New York Lizards, Pannell has led MLL in scoring for the past two seasons. He holds the Cornell University and Ivy League scoring records and is second in all-time NCAA career points with 354. In 2013, Pannell won the Tewaarton Trophy from the Tewaarton Foundation, which honors the most outstanding collegiate players and also recognizes the Native American heritage of the sport of lacrosse.

"Working with the future of our sport has been a passion of mine since I started running camps and clinics 10 years ago,” says Pannell. “I believe in coaching the fundamentals and giving players a system and mindset they can look to when it comes to stickwork, shooting and dodging. My main goal is for players to leave with a higher lacrosse IQ and more skilled than when they came while having fun doing it!"
The fee for the clinic is $50 per player. In the event of rain or thunder, the clinics will be moved to Soccer Domain Academy, 1075 Route 46 East in Clifton.
The schedule for the Rob Pannell clinics is as follows:
Rising 3, 4, 5, 6 graders
5:30-6:30pm: clinic
6:30-6:45pm: photos and autographs
Rising 7, 8, 9 graders
6:45-7pm: photos + autographs
7-8pm: clinic
