MONTCLAIR, NJ — Want to pass along your love of the Grateful Dead to the next generation? A free, kid-friendly concert in Montclair on Father’s Day weekend is the gift you can give to yourself.

The Wellmont Theater and The Goddard School of Montclair will host The Rock and Roll Playhouse for a free, public show on Saturday, June 17. The concert will take place at the Wellmont Arts Plaza from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (doors open at 11 a.m.) Learn more here.

“Performing songs created by the most iconic musicians in rock history, The Rock and Roll Playhouse band offers its core audience of families with children ages ten and under games, movement, stories and an opportunity to rock out in an effort to educate children and explore their creativity … The Rock and Roll Playhouse will perform for students, families, faculty and community members, playing music of the Grateful Dead for kids. This event is free of charge and for kids and parents alike.”
