FedEx Driver Robbed In Montclair While Making Deliveries: Police
A FedEx delivery driver was the victim of a "strong-arm robbery" in Montclair, authorities said.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — A FedEx delivery driver was the victim of a “strong-arm robbery” in Montclair last week, authorities announced Tuesday.
According to the Montclair Police Department, officers responded to the rear parking lot by the Grove Street stores on July 12 after getting a report about a robbery.
The victim – a FedEx driver – told officers that she entered the lot from Oxford Street and parked her vehicle to make deliveries. When she began unloading the truck, three men ran up behind her, grabbed the packages out of her arms and fled the scene in different directions.

Two suspects ran towards Oxford Street to an awaiting gold Honda. The second suspect entered an awaiting silver Honda, which fled towards Walnut Street, police said.
Surveillance video shows a third blue Honda that accompanied the two suspect vehicles, police noted.

The packages contained cellphones and medication, police said.
Authorities said the first suspect was described as having dreadlocks and a beard, and was wearing a white shirt, stripped shorts, white and red shoes. The second suspect had a beard and was wearing all-black clothing and a hat. The third suspect was wearing a yellow t-shirt, black Nike shorts and white sneakers.
