Festival In Montclair Will Celebrate Arab American Culture

The Foundation for Arab American Heritage is spearheading the festival, which will take place at the Montclair Art Museum.

Get ready to immerse yourselves in a vibrant celebration of Arab American culture! The first-annual FARAH Festival, a joyful event celebrating the rich heritage and traditions of the Arab American community, is coming to Montclair on April 26 at the Montclair Art Museum.

The festival will feature a variety of activities for all ages, including live traditional music and dance performances, savory and sweet food vendors, an artisanal souk, henna artists, interactive crafts, book readings, rich coffee & tea, mocktails, wines from the Levant, and nonprofit partners.

The festival is organized by FARAH, the Foundation for Arab American Heritage whose mission is to bring people together to celebrate the joy, beauty and diversity of Arab American culture, educate about the heritage and contributions of Arab Americans, and advocate for representation of Arab Americans to achieve a more just and inclusive community. Any funds raised will go towards supporting this mission. FARAH strives to foster a climate of purposeful inclusion of all identities, nationalities, orientations, beliefs, expressions, and statuses.
