Fire On Roof Of Montclair Police Building; No Injuries, Officials Say

A fire took place on the roof of the Montclair Police Department building on Bloomfield Avenue.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A fire took place Thursday on the roof of the Montclair Police Department building on Bloomfield Avenue.

The Montclair Fire Department received a call about the fire at 5:17 p.m. Firefighters arrived at the scene and put out the flames, then removed the affected section of the roof, authorities told Patch.

The last unit cleared the scene at 6:18 p.m. No injuries were reported, fire officials said.
