Fire In Trash Bin Extinguished At Glen Ridge Train Station: PD
Montclair firefighters put out flames in a garbage receptacle at the Glen Ridge Train Station, authorities said.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Firefighters extinguished a fire in a trash bin at the Glen Ridge Train Station earlier this week, authorities said.
According to the Glen Ridge Police Department, officers responded to the station on Ridgewood Avenue at 2:30 p.m. on Monday after getting a report about a fire on the train platform.
On arrival, the officers located a fire in a waste receptacle. Montclair firefighters soon arrived on the scene and extinguished the flames.

NJ Transit police are conducting an investigation into the incident, authorities said.
