Folk Legend Gordon Lightfoot Coming To Essex County, NJ

Canadian singer-songwriter Gordon Lightfoot will bring his “The Legend Lives On” tour to Montclair’s Wellmont Theater on Friday, Aug. 3.

The performance will feature his well known hits (Early Morning Rain, If You Could Read My Mind, Carefree Highway) as well as some deep album cuts for the die-hard fans. The songs are woven together with some of Lightfoot’s own behind the scenes stories and personal anecdotes about his historic 50-year musical career. Lightfoot has sold millions of albums around the globe.

Lightfoot has also had his songs recorded by other great artists including: Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Jr., Marty Robbins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Judy Collins, Johnny Mathis, Anne Murray, Olivia Newton-John, Sarah McLachlan, Barbra Streisand, Peter Paul & Mary, Harry Belafonte, Jane's Addiction, Glen Campbell, Toby Keith and others.
