For Sale: Montclair Beadworks

Since the fall of 2003, Montclair Beadworks has been the go-to place for anyone seeking to boost their creativity and enjoy a relaxing hobby.

Indeed, the colorful shop at 43 Church Street had become so popular that owner Mary Ann Cucci decided to expand in 2008.

But now the low-key shop will close by the end of the year unless a new owner is found.

The establishment is for sale as Cucci moves on to "new challenges."

According to the website, "this is a perfect opportunity for the right person to take over an established thriving, creative business. This bead shop has become an integral part of the very safe Church Street business community."

Indeed, the full-service bead shop specializes in classes, parties, and make-your-own jewelry and has provided a great place to go for kids during school holidays.

It's also just around the corner from what will soon be a redesigned South Park Street.

Cucci said it's her fondest wish to see the business grow and prosper and continue to be a part of Montclair's creative community.
