Free Coronavirus Tests In Montclair On June 10
No insurance is necessary. Montclair residents with or without symptoms are encouraged to get tested.
MONTCLAIR, NJ — The Smith Center for Infectious Diseases and Urban Health is partnering with the Township of Montclair to offer free coronavirus tests to Montclair residents on Wednesday, June 10.
According to a municipal advisory, no insurance is necessary, and residents with or without symptoms are encouraged to get tested.
The NJ Department of Health especially recommends that vulnerable populations, people who think they may have been exposed to a known case, first responders and essential frontline workers all be tested, officials said.

Here are the details, according to Montclair officials:
“A drive-through testing site will be open on Wednesday, June 10, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Montclair High School George Inness parking lot located on North Fullerton Avenue. Drivers must approach the lot by traveling from Chestnut Street to Park Street and line up in front of the George Inness Building to enter through the one-way driveway. Please do not block driveways. Appointments will be required and can be obtained by calling the Township of Montclair at 862-444-1189, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Fifty appointments will be scheduled each half hour for a total of 400 tests. The type of tests will be naso-pharangeal or nasal, depending on which is available. You must wear a facemask and do not exit your vehicle while at the site.”
All testing is made possible through the generosity of private donors, Montclair officials stated.
