The Montclair Office of Environmental Affairs presents the next free Green Film Series screening on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 6 p.m. in the Montclair Public Library, 50 South Fullerton Avenue.
“Backfired – When VW Lied to America” tells the inside story of the VW false emissions scandal. The unraveling begins at West Virginia University in 2013, where a group of unsuspecting students accidentally discovers the defeat device VW technicians used, while they were doing rare on-road testing. From there, it got worse.
