Rosalyn Baldwin is on a mission. Her goal? To hug a law enforcement officer in every state of the USA.
Spanning 21 states so far, the seven-year-old’s journey has been shared via her website, which is maintained by her two sisters, “OceanRose and Scholar24,” as well as her Facebook page.
Recently, Baldwin, a Louisiana resident, visited law enforcement officers in two of New Jersey’s largest municipalities, Newark and Jersey City, to show them her love and appreciation for taking on a tough job and to inspire police-community healing.

Baldwin’s heartwarming effort, chronicled on her GoFundMe page, is based on a simple-but-powerful belief: “love” is more than a cliché.

“As Rosalyn learned of the heroic and sacrificial efforts of many law enforcement officers, her heart was moved to offer hugs to all the law enforcement officers that crossed her path,” Baldwin’s parents wrote.
“One day after church she said to us, ‘I want to hug all of the police officers in every state… it's in my heart.’”
And that’s how RosalynLoves began.
“The late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr described the beloved community as a place where healing, justice and peace characterized the intentions and actions of the community,” Baldwin’s parents stated. “RosalynLoves is her contribution to promoting the beloved community.”
