For a day, a night, or a full weekend, the Hilton Short Hills is an escape worth considering. Just a short drive away, this AAA Four Diamond-awarded hotel boasts several dining options as well as recently refurbished rooms, but the real reason to make this a weekend getaway is the spa.
Named eforea, the Hilton's spa claims to “address the evolving wellness and beauty needs of today's spa guest.” In more practical terms, that means they offer a wide range of both body and beauty treatments for men and women including all variety of massage, wraps, scrubs, buffs, polishes, and more.
In addition to the myriad of treatments one can indulge in inside one of the spa's 13 oversized and cushy treatment rooms, the full escapist experience should really include use of the indoor and outdoor pools, large and luxurious changing lounges, extensive fitness center including a movement studio, full service hair and nail salon, and the supremely relaxing “transition lounge” for pre and post treatment relaxation. And don’t forget to have a spa lunch, preferably poolside.

Hilton launched eforea in October with a splashy star-studded party that attracted celebrities such as Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick. At the time, Vanessa Main, head of Hilton's Spa Development in the Asian Pacific markets, said the company would be launching 127 spas and that 80 of them would be eforea. The spa carries three product lines including Vitaman, a brand aimed at men.
And so, whether for a day alone or with friends (think fabulous Mother’s Day gift) or a weekend away but not too far away (think anniversary), the Hilton Short Hills could be the best escape this close to home.
