Two residential burglaries took place last month. Montclair detectives identified a suspect in both incidents, authorities said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Montclair police have charged a man in connection with a pair of burglaries that took place last month, authorities announced Tuesday.

According to the Montclair Police Department, two residential burglaries took place in April.

After conducting an investigation, detectives identified a 28-year-old male from Newark as a suspect. He was charged with burglary, attempted burglary and two counts of conspiracy, police said.

The suspect was transported to the Essex County Correctional Facility in Newark. No additional information was immediately available.
