INFANT AND CHILD SCIENTISTS NEEDED at Montclair State University!

The Cognitive and Language Development Lab at Montclair State University needs your help!
How do babies and children think about the world?

We are looking for infants and children until the age of 5 years.

Infant Studies, (0-24 months): your baby will sit on your lap and watch a short video or puppet show. We record how your baby’s interest changes over time. You will be with your baby during the entire study. Most infant studies take 30 minutes. Your baby will get a prize for participating, as well as $10-20 towards travel reimbursement to our laboratory.

Child Studies, (24+ months): Children play a short game with a friendly experimenter. You will be with your child during the entire study. Most studies take 30 minutes. There are no right or wrong answers. Your child will receive a prize for participating, as well as $10-20 towards travel reimbursement to our laboratory!

Our lab is designed for infants and children, and is conveniently located on 147 Clove Road in the Center for Clinical Services. We have free parking in “reserved” spots in the front of the building.
