Integrity House Announces Johanna Stroever Promotion to Development Director

Stroever continues to be a key player within Integrity House

NEWARK, N.J. – Integrity House, a nationally recognized non-profit substance abuse rehabilitation center with locations in Newark, Secaucus and Jersey City, has promoted Johanna Stroever to Development Director.

“Since Johanna started at Integrity House, she has been a key player in driving forward our mission to provide life-saving treatment and services for people with substance use disorders,” said Robert Budsock, Integrity House CEO and President. “Joanna has been instrumental in securing and maintaining the professional and governmental accreditations that are essential to the functioning of Integrity House. Johanna’s thoughtful and tactical approach makes her an ideal fit for this role, where she will develop and implement the strategic plans around raising the vital funds that makes our programming possible.”

As Development Director, Stroever’s responsibilities will include maintaining and increasing the financial resources of the agency through grant applications, foundation funding and developing and managing Integrity House’s Annual Fund. Previously, she served as Compliance Manager at Integrity House, where she coordinated and maintained the organization’s state licensure and CARF accreditation.

Before joining the staff at Integrity House, Stroever was a Case Supervisor for the Passaic County Court Appointed Special Advocates in Wayne, NJ. In this role, she coordinated and managed volunteers for children in the foster care system. Prior to that, Stroever represented the legal interest and rights of abused and neglected minors as Assistant Deputy Public Defender at the Office of the Law Guardian in Paterson, NJ, using fact and law to prepare testimony in hearings and termination of parental rights trials.

Stroever graduated from Haverford College in 2003 with a B.A. in English, and went on to receive a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law. In the summer of 2001, she completed additional courses at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.
