International Olive Oil Business Opens Office In Montclair

The new space in Montclair marks a major milestone in Bono USA's expansion, the company said.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — “Sicily’s largest producer of extra virgin olive oil” recently announced the opening of a new office footprint in Montclair.

Bono USA’s new offices at 363 Bloomfield Avenue includes 4,800 square feet of space. It will serve as the centralized hub for the company’s growing staff, including leadership, finance, operations, sales and logistics.

The new space in Montclair marks a major milestone in the company’s U.S. expansion, spokespeople said.

“Bono USA is growing at a rapid pace, both through our products and our team members,” said Bono USA chief operating officer Salvatore Russo-Tiesi said.

“The new space gives us the structure and systems we need to manage growth thoughtfully, strengthen operations, and ensure we continue delivering the premium quality and reliability our partners and customers expect,” Russo-Tiesi said.

A ribbon-cutting celebration was held last Thursday with Mayor Renee Baskerville.

Established in 1934, Bono is Sicily’s largest producer of authentic extra virgin olive oil, according to a news release from the company.

The family-owned business is based in Sciacca – located in the Val Di Mazara – a region coveted for its terroir and considered one of the best in the world to produce high-quality extra virgin olive oil.

Bono also owns multiple facilities across Sicily and Italy, with its U.S. division and distribution center based in Landing and Montclair.
