Jewelry Stolen From Montclair Business, Home: Police

MONTCLAIR, NJ — A Montclair business and home recently saw burglaries; jewelry was stolen in each incident, police said.

According to the Montclair Police Department, the following thefts were recently reported in the township:

• Dec. 14 - (Buckingham Road) – “A burglary was reported at a Buckingham Road residence. The suspect gained entry into the home by force while the homeowners were away. A large amount of jewelry was taken in this incident.”
• Dec. 24 - (Church Street, Montclair Antique Center) – “Burglary to a commercial establishment. Entry was gained by breaking a window. An unknown amount of jewelry was taken in this incident.”
