Montclair Community Invited to 'One Funny Motha' Workshop with The Writers Circle
The workshop is scheduled to take place Sunday, March 20 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church.

Members of the Montclair community are invited to join The Writers Circle and Stacey Gill of “One Funny Motha” for a workshop intended to help kick start one’s blog. The workshop, scheduled for Sunday, March 20 from 2-4 p.m., will take place at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, located at 73 S. Fullerton Ave.
Participants will embrace their blog personae and understand some of the essentials of blogging. Gill, who originally started blogging anonymously in 2013, has since published on multiple online publications, contributed to an anthology with 40 female bloggers and developed a social media reach of more than 10,000 followers. She will share her secrets on developing one’s voice and style, building an audience and promoting one’s work.
The Writers Circle provides creative writing workshops for children and adults that move each writer toward her or his own best work, hosting special events throughout the year. Advance registration is recommended. The fee for the two-hour workshop is $50. Further information is available through the Writers Circle website.
