Land Rover Stolen Near Brookdale Park, Recovered Next Day: Police
A car was stolen in Montclair while its owner was in the county-run park, which is also located in Bloomfield.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A car was recently stolen in Montclair while its owner was in Brookdale Park, police reported Tuesday.
The Montclair Police Department released a statement about the theft, which took place at Brookdale Park on May 19. The county-run park is located in Montclair and Bloomfield.

“The victim reported that her 2020 Land Rover was stolen from Bellegrove Drive while she was in Brookdale Park. Her purse was contained in the vehicle.”
The car was recovered the following day in Newark, police noted.
