The League of Women Voters of the Montclair Area urges all citizens 18 and older to register to vote and be a voter.
NOVEMBER 5 ELECTION DAY COUNTDOWN: Important October Deadlines and Dates and Get Out the Vote Volunteer Opportunities

October 15: Voter Registration Deadline: Register online or print out a paper application by visiting the New Jersey Division of Elections Voter Registration website here. Remember you will need to provide your NJ driver’s license or social security number. Not sure you are registered or don’t know your polling place? Check here.
October 29: Deadline to apply for a Mail-In Ballot if you don’t intend to vote in person. Apply for your mail-in ballot here. Remember all mail-in ballots must either be postmarked or dropped in a Secure Ballot Drop Box on or before 8 pm on Election Day. To find a Secure Ballot Drop Box near you, CLICK HERE.

October 26 - November 3: Early in-person voting period begins. Polls are open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm, and Sundays from 10 am to 6 pm. Early voting locations may be different than your regular polling site. CHECK HERE for early polling locations in your area.
