Local Police Searching For Missing 15-Year-Old Girl

Area police are searching for a North Jersey teen who went missing Friday.
Nutley Police Department has issued a missing persons alert for Eva Simon, a 15-year-old township resident.
According to police, Simon’s parents reported her missing on Friday. Simon is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 9 inches, 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen at 6:51 p.m. on Friday.
According to police, she was staying with family in Cuba for the past year, and when she returned home on June 12, she was depressed and immediately left her home. She has associated with gang members in Newark last year, and police suspect that she may have returned to the North Newark area.
